Pre-Season BBQ down the pub when the weather's good. Middle of July to end of July, possibly beginning of August, perhaps tie it in with a PSF at home.
Get buns, burgers, hot dogs, chicken (if people want it) cheap from tesco, my work or sainsburys, with discounts, for a decent price and sell for £2 or £2.50 or something, so long as it's not done at a loss.

Get everyone down together, raise a bit of cash to go towards materials for next season/Help For Heroes/Phyllis Tuckwell.

Could have a:

Raffle

Do a bonus ball collection for that evening

Killer pool

Pool tournament - may take too long though, depends on the numbers.

Darts

How disgusting. People are actually embracing the idea as well!!? To get to £ky's promised land of funding???

Why don't they try earning the right to play up there. Let's play in Red, so we get some Chinese fans that will buy online our shitty fucking red shirt.... Absolute madness.

York City were planning on changing their colours or badge a couple of seasons back. The Jorvik Reds, at the time, protested heavily with their clubs supporters and the chairman listened to them.

Supporter power can work, but it takes the right mindset to do so.

I hope the Cardiff Trust and it's supporters take the correct course of direct action to stop this happening. Keeping an ounce of respect for their club, their badge and their COLOUR.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17996534

Quote:Cardiff City are considering a rebranding which could mean a change of colour and a significant cash injection, BBC Wales Sport understands.
This may involve the team playing in red instead of their traditional blue.
The club's Malaysian investors believe red is a more dynamic colour for marketing in Asia, as well as of more national significance in Wales.
No final decisions have been taken, but the owners are keen to put more money at manager Malky Mackay's disposal.
Mackay had to almost rebuild his squad from scratch when he took over last summer following the sacking of Dave Jones.
Despite the early-season disruption, Cardiff managed to reach the Carling Cup final and the Championship play-off semi-finals before losing to West Ham.
The Welsh club's main investor, Vincent Tan, is also understood to be keen to develop the club's training facilities.
Use accessible player and disable flyout menus

The club's Malaysian owners have indicated they will invest about £100m to increase the stadium's capacity and build a new training ground.
While the shirts and club badge could change colour, Cardiff City sources categorically deny that the club - whose nickname is "the Bluebirds" - will become known as "the 'Red Dragons''.
The plan to rebrand the club, which started life in 1899 as Riverside FC, has split opinion both amongst fans and commentators.
Ex-Bluebirds player Jason Perry told BBC Wales Sport he understands the financial reasons behind the proposals but says the club risks "selling its soul".
But former Wales, Swansea and Cardiff forward Ian Walsh has no such reservations: "They [the owners] are hounourable guys... but they are businessmen at the end of the day and they realise it takes big money to succeed and the best possible place is the Premier League.
"The fans have just got to take a backseat here; if the club were to get to the highest level I think everybody would be happy. I don't think they should get into the illusion of losing identity of their club, because I don't think that would happen."
Club officials met fans representatives on Tuesday night to discuss the rebranding.
And afterwards they released a statement but none of the content touched on any future rebranding.
Part of the statement said: "We would like to assure supporters that any decisions will include the long-term interests of our supporters, our community and the survival and development of Cardiff City Football Club in a highly competitive and modern sporting industry.
"As a club we... fully recognise the legitimate interests of the fans, supporters and media in the affairs of the club and their right to information in respect of the same.
"On Tuesday we met with and held discussions with representatives from the local media, along with meeting with recognised supporter group and messageboard delegates.
"During these meetings we discussed the various options going forward, all of which are to be ratified in upcoming board meetings as already mentioned.
"As such we will communicate any decisions made as quickly as possible, but it serves no interest to comment in depth at this time until those decisions have been taken.
"We would anticipate that the review will be concluded within the next week, after which a comprehensive briefing will follow."

Rochdale

Both confirmed.

Exeter, Chesterfield, Wycombe looking pretty certain, potentially Walsall if Wycombe pick up a result.

Coming up, Wrexham, Luton, Mansfield and York in play-offs.

Luton please, that 3-1 defeat there hurt a few years ago.

Final home game of the season, we need to finish on an extreme high on the terrace with a big bout of colour. Probably looking at needing 20+ people, so we really need your help to pull it off. In the ground, front of the East Bank at 2:30ish.

It allows us to show what Aldershot is to us and hopefully they will not forget it and it'll be another memorable display.

Yet another roller coaster of a season with a lot of ups and downs throughout.

Get in the pub early and make a good day of it ---

WE'RE ALDERSHOT AND WE'RE PROUD OF IT.

FOREVER & ALWAYS.

Long story...United have Sunderland away in a couple of weeks, obviously looking likely they'll win the title around this point. Over 30,000 people applied for tickets but Sunderland only gave them several hundred (I think this is due to trouble/standing in the past) - in comparison everton got 6,000 this season.

Anyway, after loads of petitions and fan groups petitioning it's been increased to about 2,000 I think however it came with a little twist/set-up from MUFC to fuck off anyone willing to stand up to the authorities.

There's a thing called a loyalty pot, it has about 900 people in it and to get into it you literally have to go to every game for about 15 years.. these are the people who go to the arse end of Ukraine to watch United just to stay in the pot - these people get tickets first. Usually there's a similar number of "sponsored/executive" tickets given to suits in the away end, however for this game there are no exec tickets being given out, which some found strange...

They're going STRONG against standing up - bringing in 100 MUFC stewards and extra police leaving the first 5 rows empty purely for police/stewards. Anyone who is in the loyalty pot ticket will get a ticket in the front 15 rows, and this is who the police/stewards are going to target first. Been told in the conditions that police have been instructed to arrest and anyone ejected will lose their loyalty pot.

So to cut a long story short, the several hundred United fans who have devoted their life to the club watching them in PSF in Canada and Asia just so they can stay in the pot are all gunna get arrested/banned and taken out of the loyalty pot. This is the reason there are no exec/sponsorship tickets as they don't want investors/clients getting plummeted by coppers, many claim United are literally hoping to come in here and ban hundreds of their most loyal fans. (So they have more corporate tickets to give out in the future?)

Many United fans concerned, many saying a mass walk-out will happen if the police start coming in with force, irrelevant of the importance of the game.

Interesting stuff.
